The Carolina course was the original nine-hole layout, designed by famed Scottish architect, Donald Ross, and lies on the pastures of an existing dairy farm. Over the years, the surrounding mountainsides were shaped into two additional nine-hole layouts, the Dogwood and Blue Ridge courses.
